At this year’s conference and TECHSPO Trade Show, we taught attending trades students how to Seal Like a Pro. Now, whether these future professionals are remodeling a bathroom, installing HVAC systems or preparing for a paint job, they have the right sealants and the right skills to protect their hard work and tackle every job with confidence.

We Became Pro Sealers at TECHSPO Booth #158
We learned what it takes to Seal Like a Pro at the GE Sealants TECHSPO booth. Attendees had the chance to talk to experts, test out GE-branded products, participate in a live sealing demonstration and enter a Pro Sealer Giveaway.

Students & GE Sealants Teamed Up to Compete
In the NLSC Teamworks Competition, teams of four students worked together over two days to complete a construction project. We prepared them for the task with a short presentation on the five main sealant chemistries, so the teams could give their work the protective, finishing seal it needed.
Students Learned the Skills for Their Best Bead
Our Skills University presentation Your Best Bead educated students on the five main sealant technologies, how to pick the right product for the job and how to properly seal. A proper seal with the right sealant is key to ensuring a job is protected and ready to stand up to the environment. With this foundational sealing knowledge, trades students can enter the construction, architecture and remodeling industries with confidence.
Building a Better Tomorrow
The NLSC ‘22 Community Service Event Day was a great success. In this year’s service project—Do Good. Build Skills. Complete the Cycle—students and their advisors built bikes and gifted them directly to children in the Atlanta community. GE Sealants helped provide the tools and supplies, while our future pros provided all the hardwork and enthusiasm!
