  • How To Apply

    How to Apply in 4 Easy Steps

    1. Remove dirt, grease, moisture, soap residue & old caulk from areas to be sealed.Tip: Use backer rod for gaps larger than ⅜″ x ⅜″ (9.5mm x 9.5mm).
    2. Remove cap & cut nozzle with the GE Cartridge Opener and Smoothing Tool to obtain desired
      bead size.
    3. Apply caulk and then smooth into gap. Sealant should be tooled within 5 to 10 minutes after application. Do not use soapy water or oil as a tooling aid.Tip: Sealant beads should be no thicker than ½″ (12.7mm) or thinner than ⅛″ (3.2mm).
    4. Wipe hands & tools thoroughly before washing. Clean tools and uncured sealant residue immediately with mineral spirits or paint thinner.
