Exterior Seal Acrylic Caulk is an advanced grade paintable acrylic caulk that delivers superior performance in outdoor applications. Instructions
- Use a backer rod for gaps larger than 3/8″ (W) x 1/4″ (D) (9.5mm x 6mm). A width-to-depth ratio of 2:1 should be maintained.
- Cut nozzle to obtain desired bead size with the GE Cartridge Opener and Smoothing tool.
- Apply caulk into gap. Apply above 40°F (5°C).
- Smooth or “tool” the caulk into the gap within 5-10 minutes.
- Clean up excess wet caulk with a damp sponge before it skins over. Excess dried caulk must be cut or scraped away. Clean hands and tools with warm water and soap.
- Allow to dry for 30 minutes before painting with latex paint or 24 hours if using oil-based paints. Allow a minimum of 24 hours before exposing water.

Instructions
- Knead tube well before using.
- Remove cap and trim tip to desired bead size with the GE Cartridge Opener and Smoothing tool.
- Squeeze into the opening and remove excess with a putty knife and/or damp cloth immediately after application.
- For deeper holes or cracks, apply 1/8″ (3mm) layers, allowing each to dry thoroughly before applying the next.
- Allow to dry (approximately 15 minutes for a 1/16″ – 1/8″ (2-3mm) depth/width fill before sanding with 120 grit sandpaper.
- Remove sanding dust and prime before painting.
- Soap & water clean-up.

- Remove dirt, grease, moisture, soap residue & old sealant from area to be sealed. Use backer rod for gaps larger than 1/2″ x 1/2″.
- Cut nozzle to obtain desired bead size.
- Using caulk gun, apply caulk into gap. Apply above 40°F (5°C).
- Smooth with a gloved finger or “tool” the caulk into gap within 3-5 minutes.
- Clean-up with a damp, disposable cloth; do not rinse.
- Protect from moisture for at least 24 hours for proper drying.
