Metal Silicone 2 sealant is a high-performance, 100% silicone and 100% waterproof sealant ideal for repairing and sealing sheds, siding, gutters, recreational vehicles, roofs and vents. This 30-minute rain-ready formula is metallic gray in color and offers excellent adhesion and permanent flexibility with 10-year mold-free product protection to help resist mold and mildew growth. Backed by a lifetime guarantee.
Adheres to: most metals, stainless steel, aluminum, copper, composites, brick, stone, stucco, concrete, cement, masonry, cement board, most woods, glass, ceramic & porcelain tile, drywall, plaster, vinyl siding, PVC, fiberglass & painted surfaces

- Remove dirt, grease, moisture, soap residue & old sealant from area to be sealed. Use backer rod for gaps larger than 1/2″ x 1/2″.
- Cut nozzle to obtain desired bead size.
- PIERCE INNER FOIL SEAL.
- Using caulk gun, apply sealant into gap. Smooth with a gloved finger or “tool” the caulk into gap.
- Wipe hands & tools thoroughly before washing.
- Allow 30 minutes before exposing sealant to water.

Seal gaps and cracks around window and door frames with GE-branded Window & Door insulating foam, a low-pressure and low-expansion foam that remains waterproof with an airtight seal.
- Wear safety goggles, gloves, respiratory protection, and protective clothing. Protect surrounding areas with drop cloths.
- Shake can vigorously for one minute.
- Screw straw dispenser trigger completely onto can valve. Use caution to avoid activating the valve.
- To become familiar with product, test on experimental surface. Invert can and slowly depress the trigger to dispense the foam. Continue use in an inverted orientation.
- Fill rough openings approximately 1/3 full to allow for expansion. Release trigger 5 seconds before the end point, but keep straw end moving.
- For deep section application, allow the first layer of foam to cure before applying a second layer. Do not disturb uncured foam. See typical product information on label for times.
- Trim cured foam with a sharp knife or sand as needed. Foam exposed to sunlight must be painted or stained.
